Services for Emmett S. Brenizer Jr., age 80, of Parma, will be 11 a.m.
Monday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave.,
Mentor.
Mr. Brenizer died April 17, 2008, at Parma General Hospital in Parma.
Born Oct. 28, 1927, in Cleveland, he lived in Bedford Heights and Willowick
before moving to Parma eight years ago. He enjoyed puzzles, gambling trips
to Las Vegas, West Virginia and Canada. He was also an avid collector of
hats and coins. Mr. Brenizer was an electrician for Conrail Railroad for
many years prior to his retirement.
Survivors are his children, Richard (Nancy) Brenizer of Garfield Heights,
Mark (Karen) Brenizer of Madison, Frank (Francine) Brenizer of South Euclid,
Matthew Brenizer of Cleveland, James (Connie) Brenizer of Cleveland, Robert
(Lori) Brenizer of Germany and Tammy (Allen) Preneta of Cleveland; 15
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Constance Gerez of Rock Creek;
and special friend, Mary Ann Christian of Parma. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Emmett S. Sr. and Ivy Brenizer; children, Timothy Brenizer and
Pamela Goldy; and former wife, Ellen Brenizer.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
