A Mass of Christian Burial for Evelyn C. Fasciano, age 97, of Warwick, R.I., will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, at St. Ann Church, 2175 Coventry Road, Cleveland Heights 44118.  Mrs. Fasciano died Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick.  She was born Jan. 17, 1911, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Campanaro, she was formerly a lifelong resident of Cleveland Heights.

Evelyn graduated from Notre Dame College for Women in South Euclid, and attended Kent State University.
She belonged to Legion of Mary. Evelyn enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.  Mrs. Fasciano taught second grade for St. Ann's School, Catholic Diocese of Cleveland for 20 years before her retirement in 1976.

She was the beloved mother of Kathleen (Ronald) Bodziony of Warwick and Alexis (Joe) Megery of Mentor; loving grandmother of Christopher, Kurt, Matthew and Mark Bodziony, and Michael, Joseph and Brian Megery; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Leola DeBarr of Cleveland Heights.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; and sisters, Louise and Dorothy Campanaro.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Interment will be at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland.
