May 14, 1988 - December 25, 2020
David Post III, age, 32, of Madison Twp., died December 25, 2020. He was born May 14, 1988, in Painesville. David worked as an entrepreneur as a travel agent in Florida. His hobbies were: weight lifting, martial arts, basketball, softball, and golf. He loved to ride his motorcycle in Florida and loved to ride dirt bikes and ATV's with his Dad and brothers. He loved reading and his favorite book series was "A Game of Thrones", he was an artist and drew many beautiful pictures. He loved dogs and training them. He enjoyed being in the sunshine by the ocean and wanted to move back to Florida and to spend lost time with his youngest brother Aaron there. As a child, he always wanted to be on the run, anything outdoors in the sun with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors, catching frogs, snakes, insects, and fish. He loved to golf at school, with Dad, his youngest brother Aaron and Uncle Joey. He was a very good athlete in basketball, softball, soccer and Taekwondo and could accelerate at anything he put his mind to, including math. He always just wanted to be loved and accepted, he wanted companionship. He battled addiction but his family and true friends know there's so much more to Davey than he saw in himself. He was so bright, such a big heart that would help anyone, such a beautiful smile and laugh that will be forever missed and a void in our hearts that can never be filled. No matter what his personal struggles were, he always cared and took the time to help so many others by tutoring or mentoring them. He touched many lives, most who have gone on to lead successful lives, and have said it was his influence and belief in them that gave them what they needed to succeed. We know you are at peace now and safe in the arms of God and we have the hope of meeting again, without this hope I have no meaning in life. I no longer fear death as I know you will be waiting for me with Jesus and our loved ones and we will have a joyous reunion. Life will be hard and lonely without you until then, but this is not the end. Life goes by in a blink of an eye and I will be with you again.
