Leslie "Gib" Gibson Jr.

Leslie “Gib” Gibson Jr., 85, of Mentor, Ohio, passed away, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Hillcrest Hospital. He was born January 29, 1937 in Buffalo, NY, to the late Leslie and Amelia Gibson. Former president of the AWS Society of Cleveland, he enjoyed visiting and traveling with his family and friends, woodworking, golfing, bowling, fishing and photography. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Janet Gibson (nee: Pfohl); children, Tammy Gibson-Caldwell and Les (Susan) Gibson III; grandchildren, Jacob Caldwell, Matthew Caldwell, Douglas Gibson and Charles (Meghan) Gibson; sister, Janet Adams and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Preceding Les in death is his brother, William Gibson. A celebration of Les’ life will be held at a later date.
