Louise A. Yeager

Louise A. Yeager, 93, of Concord Twp., died June 19, 2022 at Chardon Healthcare. She was born June 8, 1929 in Painesville. Mrs. Yeager was a greenhouse worker at Wayside Gardens in Mentor, a machine operator in Wickliffe and she assembled toys at Magnif in Mentor until her retirement in 1970. In her spare time she loved to crochet, making baby afghans and sweaters to give as gifts. She enjoyed country dancing, horseshoes, bingo, a good game of cards and karaoke. Louise was extremely family orientated. Along with her husband Jack, she planned many Lette family reunions. She also enjoyed gatherings with family and friends on birthdays and holidays and just being with the ones she loved. Survivors include her husband, John J. “Jack” Yeager Sr.; children, Sandy (Andy) Sferra, and Robert (Claudia) Yeager; grandchildren, Michael (Renee) Sferra, Nina (Michael) Corbut, Brian (Ashley Warmington) Sferra, Lisa (Shawn) Yeager, and Jeff Yeager; great grandchildren, Cassius, Atticus, Mary, Mac, Teagan, Parker, Jesse, and Stephanie; great great grandchildren, Jack and Elijah; sister, Carol Reynolds; and her brother, Dave Lette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Margaret Lette; son, John J. Yeager Jr.; her infant son, Freddy Yeager; along with 5 brothers, Harold, Did, Ralph, Don and John Lette; and 2 sisters Jean Reed and June Rife. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A funeral service to honor Louise’s life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wester Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.
