Lucille Hewlette Bittner, age 90 of Mentor, died Saturday January 16, 2021 at Tri-Point Medical Center, Concord Twp. She was born June 7, 1930 in Galia County, OH. Mrs. Bittner was a homemaker. Lucille enjoyed camping, traveling, shopping and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons: Ronald (Bette) Hewlette and Kenneth (Vicki) Hewlette, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren., siblings: Robert Galloway, Estelle (Bill) White and Betty White, son in law: Bob Milliff and companion: John McElravy. Preceding Lucille in death is her 1st husband of 45 years: Garland Hewlette and husband: Gene Bittner, daughter: Deborah A. Milliff, parents: Homer and Mina Galloway, siblings: Ansel “Bus” Galloway, Marie Green, Lucy (Leo) Blake, Homer Galloway Jr. and Buddy Galloway, brother in law: Harry White and sister in law: Rosalie Galloway. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday January 21, 2021 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged during all publicly attended events. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am Friday January 22, 2021 at the funeral home.
