Maria Iorio

November 3, 2011 - January 20, 2022

Maria Iorio, age 10 of Mayfield Village, OH, passed away on January 20, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic with her family by her side. She was born November 3, 2011 in Mayfield Heights, OH. Maria was a strong, happy and silly spirit. There was a time early in her life that some doctors didn’t believe she could smile following a stroke. She proceeded to virtually smile nonstop for the next 9 plus years. She brought so much joy and happiness to those around her. Known for her hugs and laugh, there is likely no one as loved as she is. There are no words to express how much she will be missed. She is survived by her parents, Brian and Sarah (Rogers) Iorio; maternal grandmother, Lori (Daniel) Rulong; maternal grandfather, Don (Kim) Rogers; paternal grandmother, Myrna Iorio; aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Todd) Leombruno, Josh (Vanesa) Rogers and Donny Rogers; cousins, Max and Alex Leombruno, Lexi, Ari, and Brayden Rogers and Jahmuna and Elijah Rogers. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Frank T. Iorio. A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
