Mary K. McFadden

July 2, 1934 - December 8, 2021

Mary K. McFadden, age 87 of Willoughby, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at UH Lake West Medical Center. She was born July 2, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Clarence and Margaret McFarland. Kay was a great Mom and loved by everyone that knew her. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed being involved with church activities and also had a rewarding career in real estate. She enjoyed life and loved to have fun no matter what she was doing. She was a Charter member of the East Side Irish American Club and loved traveling with family and friends. Survivors include her children, Larry (Christine), John (Jovi), Patricia (Lance) Vinsel, William (Deborah), and Paul (Heather Chunn) McFadden; daughter-in-law, Joann McFadden; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and nieces, Kathy Aftoora and Samantha (Brent) McKinley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and son, Michael McFadden. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094. Please meet at the church. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. The family respectfully asks masks to be worn at all services.
