Nick DeNapoli, 78, of Concord Twp., passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the David Simpson Hospice House, Cleveland. He was born July 7, 1943 in Cleveland, OH, to the late Camillo and Carol DeNapoli. Music was a huge part of Nick’s life. He was an amazing musician and was able to play multiple instruments, compose his own original music, and played in various bands over the years. He was also a favorite music teacher and band director at Perry Middle School for over thirty years. Photography, reading, gardening and writing were some of Nick’s favorite hobbies. He loved taking pictures of nature and spending time at the beach and outdoors. Nick reminisced often about trips to Italy and Florida, which were two of his favorite places. He was well-loved by family and friends and he will be truly missed. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jan DeNapoli (nee: Kost); daughters, Kelly (Dave) Bromeier of Parker, CO. and Shannon (Michael) Como of Chandler, AZ.; grandchildren, Grace and Ava Bromeier and Ryan Como; sisters, Teresa (Matt) Lallo and Faith (Ken) DiPippo and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio 44060. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6850 Mayfield Rd., Gates Mills, OH 44040. Please meet at the church. Burial in All Souls Cemetery to follow.
