Richard C. Kliever Sr., 91, of Willowick, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the David Simpson Hospice House, Cleveland. He was born March 13, 1930 in Cleveland to the late William and Natalie (Dryer) Kliever. Richard was a Korean War Army veteran. When he returned from the war, he married the love of his life, Betty, and started a family. He worked as a barber for over 40 years and had many loyal customers who would come to his home for haircuts even after he retired. He enjoyed working in the yard, garden, home improvement projects, and could fix anything. He was a loving father, husband and friend who was always ready to help people. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Betty Kliever (nee: Hutcheson); children, Debbie (Ken) Balsom and Richard (Donna) Kliever Jr.; grandchildren, Jason Kliever, Chris Balsom and Jon Balsom and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Preceding Richard in death are his grandson, Adam Kliever and siblings, William Kliever, Edward Kliever and Jean Wolan. Private family services were held.
