Rita (Krebs) Jensen, age 86, of Mentor, passed away Monday December 13, 2021 at Mentor Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mentor, OH. She was born on August 4, 1935 in Sandusky, OH. Mrs. Jensen was a retired wholesale ordering associate with the former Geo. Canalos & Co., Sandusky. Rita enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, especially making treats for the children’s school parties. She enjoyed spending time with her Senior Group from St. Gabe’s Church, participating in their monthly activities. But most of all, her two cats, Rice and Zoe were her world. Surviving Rita are her children: Ronald C. Jensen, Robert F. (Lani) Jensen and Diane M. (John) Dixon; grandchildren: Jamie Jensen, Morgan (Corey) Aldridge, April (Nathan) Dixon-Cartwright, Jennifer Stitt, Nikole Harrison and John (Eliza) Dixon II, 15 great-grandchildren and brothers: Ronald (Ann) Krebs and Robert Krebs. Preceding Rita in death are her parents: Edward and Claira Krebs; companion: Kenneth F. Johnson; former husband: Carl “Jr” Jensen. Private family services were held at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor, OH. 44060. Interment was in Mentor Cemetery, Mentor, OH.
