Susan M. Sprague Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Susan M. Sprague, age 64 of Rome, Ohio passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born January 6, 1957 in Warren, Ohio to the late Harry and Marie Anderson. Sue was self employed as a Professional Pet Sitter and Trainer for the last fifteen years, a job she loved, in which she had a long list of clients that thought very highly of her, and many considering her a good friend. Sue loved the outdoors and everything that entailed, whether it was the joy of her country home, being around her horses, camping, or just sitting around a campfire with friends. Sue had worked in the food industry for twenty-six years and with that came a love for cooking and baking which she excelled at. There were many times she would make five course meals for family that would rate five stars at any restaurant. She loved her Sudoku and was a numbers person. She could remember numbers without ever writing them down. She loved to bowl and always had a competitive streak in whatever she did. She was a loving, down to earth person that was loved by so many and will be truly missed. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steven Sprague; mother-in-law, LaVerne Sprague; brothers, Harry (Joanne) Anderson, and Richard Anderson; sister-in-law, Vicki (Dennis) Farinacci; and many nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carla Myers; brother, Tom Anderson; and father-in-law, Don Sprague. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
