Thomas Brow Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thomas Brow, 87, of Mentor, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 7, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio. He lived in Cleveland before moving to Mentor in 1962. Tom served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne for two years. He worked at Fisher Body, Coit Road Plant in Cleveland for 30 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in Mentor and the UAW Union Local 45. He was an avid Browns fan his entire life. Tom’s hobbies included drawing and painting, for which he received several awards. He also enjoyed photography and has a collection of beautiful pictures. Tom was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for his great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Norma Brow (nee: Parks); daughter, Diane (Jim) Jones; grandchildren, Thomas Smith and Samantha (Brandon Witt) Smith-Witt and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. Preceding Thomas in death are his son, David Richard Brow; father, Walter Brow; mother, Anna Edna Brow; brother, Kenneth Brow and half siblings, Raymond Brow, Loretta Cwiklinski, Charlotte Ciresi, Peggy Aldridge and William Elko. The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A funeral mass will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd. Mentor, OH, 44060, please meet at the church.
