Timothy L. "Tim" Woleben Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Timothy L. “Tim” Woleben, age 75, of Mentor, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 16, 1946 in Westfield, NY. After graduating from Westfield Academy and Central School in 1965, Tim enlisted in the US Air Force serving one tour in the Vietnam War. Stationed in Da Nang, he was a crew chief for the F-4 Phantom fighter jet. Upon his return from Vietnam, Tim married Donna Mae Ross in 1969 and graduated in 1973 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Together, Tim and Donna raised three sons JT, Jeff, and Jason. After Tim retired from manufacturing sales, he relished spending time with his friends and family including his nine grandchildren. As an avid golfer, he always enjoyed taking his sons golfing. Tim was a proud veteran, a car enthusiast, and enjoyed reading and sitting outside in the sun. Survivors include his wife of 53 years: Donna Mae (Ross) Woleben; sons: JT (Marcy) Woleben, Jeffrey (Lindsey) Woleben and Jason (Tara) Woleben; grandchildren: Cameron, Kyle, Kearsten, Maddox, Lincoln, Maverick, Lulu, Aiden and Landon; brother: Steven (Mary Ann) Woleben. Preceding Tim in death are his parents: Arthur and Beulah Woleben. A celebration of Tim’s life will be from 4-7 pm Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor, OH. 44060.
