Wallace D. Otto

August 11, 1933 - March 22, 2022

Wallace D. Otto, 88, of Mentor, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Lake West Medical Center. He was born August 11, 1933 in Cleveland to the late Wallace Bruno and Elizabeth Otto. Wallace was a retired Senior Vice President of PMC Industries and a retired Captain of the Willowick Fire Department. Wallace and his wife Ocena were long time members of Lake County Yacht Club (LCYC). He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Later in life, Wallace enjoyed building and racing model sailboats at the Western Reserve Model Yacht Club. Wally always enjoyed relaxing with a good Cigar! Survivors include his children, Kenneth Otto, Donna (Wayne) Leybeck and Edward (Nikki) Otto; grandchildren, Christopher (Saphu Pradhan) Otto, Sarah Otto, Jacob Otto, Natalie Marie (Chad) Wagner, Brian Leybeck, Alexander Otto and Kira (Tyler Heinbaugh) Otto; great grandchildren Damien and Jaxon and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Preceding Wallace in death are his wife, Ocena Otto; granddaughter, Melissa Otto and Sister, Donna Eva Otto. Private family services were held.
