Funeral service for Mae Belle Burkett, age 88, of Mentor since 1960, will be held 12pm Monday February 15, 2010 at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.

Mrs. Burkett died February 11, 2010 at the Fairways in Wickliffe.  She was born November 11, 1921 in Cleveland.

Mrs. Burkett was a member of Mentor Community Church of God, where she was on the church council for many years.  She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, watching the Cleveland Indians and the Lake County Captains and especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son Kenneth (Joanne) McCracken of Concord Twp; daughters Rosilynn Gayle (Joseph) Giel of Florida, Sharleen (Robert) Connolly of Mentor on the Lake and Tammy (Richard) Ford of Medina; grandchildren Chris, Cheryl Ann, Frank, Kelly, Dennis, Danielle and Marcus; 10 great grandchildren; and also great great-grandchildren; brother Lawrence Cline.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ross; grandchildren Kenneth, Jr. and Veronica Lynn “Sissy”.

Family will receive friends 2-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.
