Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located in the city of Mentor, Ohio, is the largest funeral home in Lake County. Situated on the shores of Lake Erie in Northeast Ohio, the city is home to Headlands Beach State Park, the longest public swimming beach in Ohio. The city is also home to the James A. Garfield National Historic Site. In 2018, the Brunner, Sanden and Deitrick families gifted the single largest donation in the history of The Lake Health Foundation, which resulted in the naming of the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Wellness Campus in Mentor. The family ties to the Mentor community are strong. Martha Deitrick, Chuck Brunner, Nancy Sanden and Brian Deitrick are all proud Mentor High School alumni. Founding partner, Ray Brunner, and Nancy Brunner Sanden are both members of the Mentor High School Hall of Fame. The funeral home supports its programs such as Mentor High School athletics, Mentor High School Alumni Association and more.
Many of our partners and staff have sat on the board of the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce and the funeral home still proudly sponsors its mission. The funeral home also works closely with St. Mary of the Assumption and Mentor Rotary.
