Denise T. Goddard, age 56, of Mentor for the past 25 years, and formerly of
Pittsburgh, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at her home. She was
born June 11, 1955.
Mrs. Goddard was a registered nurse at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield
Heights, where she working in the ICU for many years. She devoted most of
her life to helping other women achieve their sobriety.
Survivors are her husband of 27 years, John Goddard of Mentor; daughter,
Jessica Goddard of Mentor; and three stepchildren, Donald, Robert and
Michael (Elizabeth) Goddard. She is also survived by loving grandchildren,
brothers, sisters and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Johanna Octavi.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012
at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor
Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
