Norma
D. Gorg, 87, of Mentor and formerly of East Cleveland, died Friday, Jan. 27,
2012, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
She was born April 21, 1924, in Cleveland.
Norma enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, sewing, was a mystery book reader,
and bowled with the Alley Cats Bowling League for 10 years.
Mrs. Gorg worked for Cleveland Trust Bank in Collinwood.
Survivors include her children, Patricia Gorg of Mentor, Virginia Gorg of
Painesville, Donald (Lois) Gorg of Florence, S.C., Sandra (Robert) Turick of
Painesville; grandchildren, Kassandra and Jennifer; great-grandchildren,
Bryce and Austin; sister, Olga Musengo of Twinsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; brother, John DeJovine;
parents, John and Lena DeJovine.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday January 30, 2012 at St. Mary of the Assumption
Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Please meet at church.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Sanden
Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Interment will take place at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester
Township.
