 Jerome
E. "Jerry" Hinko, age 75, of Concord Township for the past nine years,
formerly of Euclid, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Lake West Medical
Center in Willoughby. He was born Nov. 20, 1934, in Cleveland.
Mr. Hinko was a retired telephone installer for Ameritech in Cleveland for
28 years, until his retirement in 1994.
He was a U.S. Amy veteran and member of St. Gabriel Church in Concord
Township. He loved all sports, especially golf.
Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Carol (Germano) Hinko; daughters, Linda
Gregorc of Willoughby and Michelle (Craig) Demian of Mentor; and five
grandchildren, Anthony and Megan Gregorc, Katherine (Matthew) Cox, Jacob and
Julia Demian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marie Hinko.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday February 15, 2010 at St. Gabriel Church,
9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home &
Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Entombment will be in All Souls
Cemetery in Chardon Township. |
