Sylvester M. ""Big Syl"" Hrusovsky, age 77, of Mentor for the past 33 years,
passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord
Township. He was born April 12, 1934, in German Township, Pa.
Mr. Hrusovsky was an auto worker at General Motors (Fisher Body in Euclid)
for 32 years prior to his retirement.
Hobbies of his included fishing and gardening. He especially loved spending
time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth ""Betty"" Hrusovsky; sons,
Donald (Tracy) Hrusovsky of Columbus and Robert (Kim) Hrusovsky of Concord
Township. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren; and brothers, Joseph (Mary Lou) Hrusovsky of Mentor and
Frank (Teresa) Hrusovsky of Parma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Hrusovsky.
Funeral mass will be at noon Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at St. Gabriel Catholic
Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at
Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave.,
Mentor.
Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
