Andrew J. Kresge, age 93, of Mentor for the past 30 years,
formerly of Willoughby, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Chardon Healthcare.
He was born Oct. 19, 1916, in Lawrence, Mass.
Mr. Kresge was a manager at Thom McCann shoe store in Ohio for 30 years.
He was a lifetime honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4801
and a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
Survivors are his loving daughter, Darlene Panichi of Concord Township; and
beloved grandchildren, Christina, Angela, Daniel and Michael Panichi.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor L. Kresge; sister, Mary Deans;
and parents, George and Ann Greska.
Funeral Mass will be held noon Friday February 10, 2010 at St. John Vianney
Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Funeral
Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Inurnment will be at All
Souls Cemetery Chardon Township.
