 Margaret
"Peggy" Lausberg, age 54, of Mentor for the past 30 years, died Tuesday,
Feb. 9, 2010, at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born May 4,
1955, Philadelphia, Pa.
Mrs. Lausberg worked as a nurse for the past 20 years at University Hospital
Urgent Care Center in Mentor.
She was a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor of science in
nursing. She was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church and Mentor
Junior Women's League, where she was past president. She was also an avid
golfer, golfing at Legend Lake Country Club, Madison Country Club, Pine
Ridge Country Club and Chardon Lakes Golf Course and was an excellent cook,
baker and seamstress. Peggy loved being a wife, mom and homemaker to all.
Survivors are her husband of 32 years, Jeff Lausberg; son, James Lausberg of
Mentor; daughter, Lauren Lausberg of Charleston, S.C.; father, Alan (Doris)
Bickel of Pennsylvania; sister, Laurie (John) Dagostino of Harboro, Pa.;
sister, Barbara (Rodney) Winn of Lititz, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorainne Bickel.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday February 15, 2010 at Mentor United
Methodist Church, 8600 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Funeral Home &
Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
