Michell "Nick" Litnar, age 90, of Mentor passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012,
at Mentor Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Nov. 3, 1921,
in Cleveland.
Nick was a U.S. Army veteran obtaining the rank of Sergeant. Nick enjoyed
being with his family. He worked for General Motors until his retirement.
Survivors are his children, James (Carole) Litnar of Ashtabula and Linda
Litnar of Willoughby; grandchildren, Courtney, Nicole, Michael and Julianna
Litnar; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ann Litnar and Mary
Markovich.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth G. "Betty" Litnar; parents,
John and Mary Litnar; and son, Nick Jr.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Brunner
Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral
home. Interment will be held in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
