 Alice (Young)
Nemec, age 81, of Kirtland for the past 40 years and formerly of Cleveland,
died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at Blossom Hill Care Center in Huntsburg.
She was born March 14, 1928, in Cleveland.
Mrs. Nemec was a member of Old South Church in Kirtland.
Survivors include her son, Matthew (Louise) Nemec; daughters, Nora-Lynn
(Forrest Stanley) Nemec and Francine (William) Knop; and grandchildren, Max,
Natalie and Alison Knop.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Nemec; son, Michael R. Nemec;
grandson, Allen J. Knop; and brothers, Les, Will, Don and Bob Young.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday February 20, 2010 at Old South
Church, 9802 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland.
Family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, and immediately
following the services for a light reception at the church.
Private burial was held at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester
Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Old South Church Building
Fund, 9802 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, OH 44094.
