Elgina M. Persichitti age 88 of Fairport, NY and
Sun City West, AZ., died Sunday January 29, 2012 at Hospice of Arizona
in Sun City West, Arizona with her husband of 64 years Robert at her
bedside. She was born June 16, 1923 in East Rochester, NY.
Mrs. Persichitti was a lens inspector for Kodak for
40 years retiring in 1983. Elgina was a member of Church of St. Jerome
in East Rochester and Our Lady of Lourdes in Sun City West.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of
64 years Robert Persichitti, great-nephews: Jeffrey R. Raschiatore of
Irvine, CA, Brian M. Raschiatore and Sean R. Raschiatore both of Irvine,
CA, niece: Jeannie (Allen) Berry of Brockport, NY & nephew: Robert
(Sue) Volpe of Rochester, NY. Preceding Elgina in death is her parents:
Chester and Josephine Galiffo, sister: Nelina Raschiatore and nephew:
Richard Raschiatore.
Funeral mass will be 11 am Thursday at Church of
St. Jerome 207 South Garfield St. East Rochester. The family will
receive friends Thursday from 10 –11 am at the church. Entombment will
be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY.
