Josephine
K. Raney, 76, of Mentor, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Lake West
Medical Center in Willoughby. She was born May 17, 1935, in Cleveland.
Josephine was a longtime member of Tops Club in Euclid.
Survivors include her children, Carla Hannan, Rich (MaryLou) Raney Sr. and
Liz Pearson, all of Mentor; grandchildren, Eddie, Kristen, Rich, Jr., Aaron,
Jen, Rick, Michelle, George and Patrick; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda St. Clair; twin brother,
Edward "Ted" Williams; son-in-law, Bruce Hannan; and parents, Eric and
Elizabeth Williams.
A funeral Mass will take place 10 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at St.
Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. The family
will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick
Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
