Jane Stefanac
Jane
Stefanac, age 67, of Kirtland for 24 years, passed away Feb. 2, 2012, at
Hospice House in Cleveland. She was born June 8, 1944, in Yatesboro, Pa.
Among her many vocations, Mrs. Stefanac was most happy as a caregiver at
the former Metzenbaum Center in
Chester Township.
Mrs. Stefanac was also proud of her Slovak heritage and that she was a
coal miner's daughter. Her fortitude, free spirit, outspoken comical
nature and zest for life was among her greatest legacy's left to her
children, family & friends.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Drago; children, Curt Kroll
of Mansfield, Joseph (Jennifer) Kroll of Cortland, Lana Stefanac and
Renee Wilson of California, and Mark (Kristina) Stefanac of Kirtland;
nephew, Stephen (Kelly) Skufca of Willoughby; grandchildren, Bryan
Kroll, Mackayla Kroll, Claire Stefanac, Erika Huppert and Annelise
Huppert; great-grandchildren, Brady Kroll and Ethan Huppert;
great-nephew, Logan Skufca; and brother-in-law, William Skufca of
Kirtland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Vera
Zaharansky; and sister, Joanne Skufca.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick
Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. The
family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. Online
