Adam Rendina

Adam Rendina, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, peacefully passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 89. His departure has left a profound void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Adam was born on October 2, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Felix and Antonia Rendina. He was raised with strong values of integrity, hard work, compassion, and humor which he carried with him throughout his life. Adam was devoted to his family. He married the love of his life, Barbara (Ague) in 1956, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. As a father, he was a constant pillar of strength, offering unwavering encouragement and guidance to his children, Michael (Lise), Annette (Donald) Misconin, and Suzanne (Kenneth) Levering. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Joseph (Autumn), Danielle (Martin), Robert (Natalie), Adrienne (Gregory), Matthew (Allison), Karla (Anthony), Kristen, Jake and Kelly; and his great-grandchildren, Landon and Thomas. He cherished every moment spent with his family and created lasting memories that will forever be treasured. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Antonia Rendina; granddaughter, Kathryn Ann Levering; siblings, Antonio Rendina, Dominick Rendina, Albert Rendina, Enerica Palladino, Josephine Ranallo, Armida Magri, and Eva Jagielski. In his professional life, Adam was employed at Pipe Machinery (PMC Industries) for 46 years. He began as a machinist and then became an inspector and eventually a division manager. He excelled in his profession, earning the admiration and respect of his colleagues. Beyond his career, Adam was an active member of Pelican Sound Golf and River Club in Estero, Florida, St. Mary Magdalene Church, St. Gabriel Catholic Church and Our Lady of Light Catholic Church. In his leisure time, Adam enjoyed attending the sporting events for his children and grandchildren. He traveled through any weather to show his support. He also enjoyed playing softball and bowling with his friends and family. Adam's passing is mourned deeply by his wife, children and grandchildren, who will always treasure the wonderful times spent together. His legacy of love, hard work, and humor will forever be cherished and celebrated by all those whose lives he touched. A memorial service to honor and remember Adam’s life will be held from 4-8:00 pm on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
