Christopher M. Rossi

Christopher M. Rossi, 43, of Kirtland Hills, died July 6, 2024. He was born June 22, 1981 in Medina. Chris and his wife owned and operated Innovative Sport Surfacing. When not grinding at work, he enjoyed being with his family and spending time with his children. Austin and Chris worked together and loved joking and calling one another Jim (Chris) and Tony (Austin). Jayden and Chris had a passion for cars and enjoyed attending car meets together. He and his son Landyn enjoyed golfing. His baby girl, Ashlyn and he loved going to hockey games. The apple of his eye, his little Beanut, Brooklyn and he loved to ski. He never missed a softball or baseball game or dance competition. He was the best daddy that anyone could ever ask for and loved his kids more than anything in this world. His new grandbaby, Melody, was so precious to him, and he always made her smile. The love of his life, Kristen, his best friend, his ride or die, loved him with all her heart. He was her Rock! Real life Bonnie & Clyde. His momma, Twila, was his everything. He loved her so much. The family pets, Bella and Leo meant the world to Chris as well. Bella Bean was his best friend. Every time he walked into the house, she would go crazy to see him. Chris also enjoyed attending sporting events to cheer on the Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavs and Monsters with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Kristen Rossi; children, Austin Andrade (Marissa Sweitzer); Jayden Poshe; Saraya Leatherman, Landyn Rossi; Ashlyn Rossi; Brooklyn Rossi; granddaughter, Melody Andrade; mother, Twila Hardin (Raymond Matray); brother and sister in laws, as well as many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephew and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; Christopher Hardin. The family will receive friends to celebrate Chris’ life from 2-7 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Andrews Osborne Academy, 38588 Mentor Ave., Willoughby, Ohio 44094 in his children’s names.
