Horace "Mike" Patchin

Horace “Mike” Patchin, age 88, of Mentor, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2023 while at home and surrounded by family. He was born on March 15, 1934 in Burnside, PA, to the late Donald and Alice Patchin. Horace loved the Lord, family, airplanes, gardening, camping and woodworking. He had a pilot’s license and enjoyed flying family and friends. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in various sports. He was a deacon at Faith Baptist Church. His life is a testimony to the importance of God and family. The legacy he leaves is that of love, strength and compassion. Horace holds a special place in many people’s hearts and will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding Horace in death are his first wife, Alice Patchin and sister, Laura Stockley. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm., Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave, Mentor, OH 44060 and from 9:00am – 10:00am., Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Willo-Hill Baptist Church, 4200 OH-306, Willoughby, OH 44094.
