Jim K. Cooper

Jim K. Cooper, 77 of Concord Twp., passed away April 15, 2019 at his home. He was born June 13, 1941 in Jonesville, VA. Mr. Cooper worked as a truck driver for Mitchell Transport and Union Sand. His hobbies were working on cars and working in the yard. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, taking long car rides in the country and loved making people laugh. Jim was so funny and goofy, always our personal comedian. Survivors are his wife, Madaline; children, Tom (Diane), Patricia, Ann (Mat), and Eric (Kathy); grandchildren, Tiffany, Tarah, Ashley, Tess, Tanner, Bailie, Alycia, Allyson, and Alexis; and his great-grandchildren, Zander, Skylar, Mckenna, Quinn, Connor, and Jameson. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hazel Cooper; brothers, Norman Cooper and Leonard Cooper Jim, after almost 57 years of marriage I've lost the love of my life. You weren't the kind of man who said much, but you loved your family deeply and were always joking around to make people laugh. I am going to miss you so much. I know the Angels are waiting to greet you. I'll love you always! Your Wife, Madaline Our Mom and Dad were the true example of True Love, The Real Love Story that everyone dreams about. We will miss our Dad so much; we will miss "them" together as much. Dad, The Greatest Man We Know- Your witty, funny, charm made so many people smile. You made light out of every situation and were always there to lend a helping hand. We will never forget your laughing eyes, kind heart and loving ways. You will be in our thoughts every day and remain in our hearts always! We know you will be watching over us as you always have. We will miss you like crazy and Love You Forever! Dad, some days I can hear your voice and turn to see your face, yet in my turning, it seems the sound has been erased. If I could turn back time and once more hear your voice I'd tell you that out of all the Dad's you would still be my only choice. Please know I love you. The years may come and go but your memory will never be erased. Today God, if you’re listening, Go and find my Dad and give him all my love. You taught us so much through your silly stories and words of wisdom. We love you with all our hearts. Miss you so much! The memories he gave us, always making us laugh, life lessons we'll never forget, instilling strength and wisdom, being a lifelong friend and partner to our grandma.
