Carole Ann Lauric

Carole Ann Lauric, 83, of Concord Twp., OH, passed away January 11, 2026, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts. She was born on July 1, 1942, in Cleveland, OH. Carole graduated from Euclid High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Lake Erie College. For most of her professional life, she was a Dental Hygienist and later started her own dental consulting company. Most importantly, Carole’s entire life was defined by her dedication to her family. She believed strongly that family is the foundation of a joyful, fulfilling and successful life. Other than God, her husband “Teddy” who she often called “The Love of Her Life” was the most important thing in her life. She was fiercely dedicated to her 2 children and 5 grandsons, traveling everywhere and anywhere to support them throughout their lives. To know Carole was to understand that her decisions and her actions were guided by God and until her last breath she was committed to doing what was right by Him. She was also extremely passionate about her friends and had deep connections with friends, old and new. Carole was deeply loving, generous, grateful, caring, loyal, devoted and compassionate. Carole was an athlete. Until the end of her life she stayed extremely active with golf, bowling, swimming and playing cards and games with friends and family - all on a weekly basis. She could outlast anyone on the dance floor and was famous for the longest Italian goodbye of all time. In the hours preceding her death, she was surrounded by her husband, her sister, her children, her grandchildren, her best friends and others who will all miss her tremendously. Carole was truly one in a million. In Carole’s own words, “You need to be tough to be a survivor. But you need to be gentle also. You have to tell those that you love, all the time, that you love them. You want love and trust and family. Support your family. Your family is always your family. Don’t let them out of your range, ever. Do not let the family go, it’s way too important. And remember, God is the leader of your life. You know what’s right and you know what’s wrong. And you have to follow God’s rules. Stay holy. Stay strong. In the arms of God, he will always hold you.” Survivors include her husband, Ted Lauric; children, Lisa (Henry Jr.) LoConti, and Michael Lauric; grandchildren, Jon-Anthony LoConti, Henry LoConti III, Carmen LoConti, and Eli Lauric; sister, Susan Cirino; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Marino. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael LoConti; parents, Carmen and Rose Massella; brother, Matthew Massella; and her brother-in-law, Emil Marino. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord Twp., OH 44060. A funeral Mass to honor Carole’s life will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the church. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, in Chardon OH.
