Cheryl Ann Whitcomb

Cheryl Ann Whitcomb, age 62, of Concord Twp., passed away peacefully at her home on November 19, 2012. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Feb 27, 1950. She lived in Euclid and graduated from Euclid High School in 1968. Cheryl married her junior high school sweetheart, John Whitcomb in 1969. They raised two daughters, Marianne and Marcy, in Mentor while earning her Real Estate license. Early in her career as a real estate agent in the Lake County area, Cheryl served as an instructor at Lakeland Community College. Cheryl started her career at Century 21 in Mentor and joined Realty One in 1989 where she remained till she helped launch the Keller Williams Greater Cleveland Northeast Office in Mentor in 2007. For 35 years Cheryl maintained a reputation for integrity, loyalty, and professionalism. In 2011 she retired as a Broker / Owner of Keller Williams. Cheryl’s greatest fulfillment in life was her family. She and her husband were married 43 years. They have four grandchildren. Throughout her life she demonstrated a deep faith in Jesus Christ. Cheryl loved laughing and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband John; daughters Marianne (John) Prentice & Marcy (Steve) Feather and grandchildren Gracie, Johnny, Luke and Mitchell. Sisters; Paulette Kitko & Laureen (Larry) Tyler, brothers; Richard (Sharon) Kitko & Michael (Francine) Kitko and many nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law of David (Charlene) Whitcomb. She is preceded in death by her parents Aurora (Albertini) Kitko, Paul Kitko, John J. and Ruth (Anderson) Whitcomb. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center from 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 and invite you to celebrate Cheryl’s life 11:00 am Saturday at Pilgrim Lutheran Brethren Church, 9514 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor, OH. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Hts.
