Daniel P. Artino

It is with great heartbreak we announce the sudden passing of Daniel Patrick Artino, known to all as "Danny". He arrived in this world on August 14 1996, to parents, Daniel and Stacey Artino of Concord Township, Ohio, and passed away March 20, 2023, at the young age of 26. Danny was a 2015 graduate of Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School in Chardon, Ohio. He was currently employed at FedEx Industries. Those who knew Danny loved him. He was blessed with an infectious smile that lit up a room, which was only overshadowed by his magnetic personality. Danny was gifted with a perfect combination of kindness and quick wit, he was helpful, giving, and inhibited the purest of hearts. In his free time, Danny loved to golf, cook and quote one of his favorite South Park characters, Randy Marsh. Danny loved spending time with his family and his beloved dog Bo, who was his pride and joy. He is survived by and will be missed by his loving father, Dan Artino; sisters, Lexi Artino, Natalie Artino and Olivia Artino; his maternal grandparents, Pat and Janet O'Brien; his paternal grandmother, Ellen Artino; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded into the kingdom of heaven by his beloved mother, Stacey (nee O'Brien) Artino; and his grandfather, Tom Artino. The purpose of this charity is to ease the pain of those battling the effects of cancer with their daily struggles. Although we cannot lessen the pain of losing Danny, the light that can come from his loss is one that we must embrace. It will allow us the ability to watch Danny continue to make people smile, which is what he did best. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Danny’s life at a memorial mass 10 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2023 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, OH 44060 (Please meet at the church.)
