David Anthony Fritsche

David Anthony Fritsche, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his home. He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on July 9, 1969. David grew up mainly in Florida, later moved to Kansas, and eventually settled in Ohio, where he built his life and career. He was the youngest of five siblings. Mr. Fritsche was the proud owner and operator of Fritsche Builders, specializing in residential home construction, remodeling, and carpentry work throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania. His company completed a wide range of residential and commercial construction projects, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship and dedication to his clients. Dave was known for his strong work ethic, sense of humor, and immense love for his family and friends. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Dave” to all who knew him, always ready with a laugh, a kind word, or a helping hand. He loved being there for his family, friends, and all of their little ones, creating lasting memories and spreading joy wherever he went. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quiet moments at home with his dogs. He is survived by his loving wife of five years, Victoria “Vicky” Greene; his sons, Nathaniel (Rachel Franks) Martin, Sean (Katie) Fritsche, and Ryan Fritsche; granddaughter, Haylie; mother, Diane Fritsche; siblings, Fred (Trena) Fritsche Jr., Cheryl Fritsche-Lee, Richard Fritsche, and Deron (Jodie) Fritsche; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He will also be dearly missed by his beloved furry companions, Dukie and Tucker. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick (Darlene) Fritsche. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
