Lori A. (Trivisonno) Chay

Lori A. (Trivisonno) Chay, age 64, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday February 16, 2022 at UH Tri-Point Medical Center, Concord. She was born May 15, 1957 in Columbus. Mrs. Chay was in Customer Service for the past 44 years at Avalon Precision Metalsmiths. Lori enjoyed spending every possible moment with her family and friends. It didn't matter how much or how little she was doing, she was always at her happiest as long as she was in the company of her loving husband and 2 daughters. She had a special way of being the quietest person in the room, but having the biggest impact on everyone she met. She always had a smile on her face and was there to help anyone that needed it. She had a deep love for traveling and making many memories with her family (specifically to Punta Cana, Vegas, and Sunset Beach, NC). Lori was an avid sports fan. She was a born Ohio State Buckeyes fan, a season ticket holder for the Cleveland Indians, and also loved showing her support at the Mentor Football and Basketball games over several years. During football season, she loved to arrive early and tailgate with the many friends she made and would regularly be seen in the stands cheering loudly and ringing her cowbell, regardless of the weather conditions. She had the warmest heart and loved fully every day of her life. Lori is survived by her husband of 39 years: George G. Chay; daughters: Tiffany and Brittany Chay; siblings: Marcia (Scott) Goodhue, Joe (Susan) Trivisonno Jr., and Steve (Pam) Trivisonno; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Brandon) McCarthy, Katie (Nick) Marchinchin, Melissa Goodhue, Joe, Andy, and Tori Trivisonno and Kari (Zac) Wojciechowski; great-nieces: Nora Allen, Grace Marchinchin and Cadence Jo Wojciechowski and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding Lori in death are her parents: Joseph “Jo-Jo” and Sally Trivisonno. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 5:00 pm Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor, OH 44060. A funeral mass will be 10:00 am Monday, February 21, 2022, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd. Mentor, OH. 44060. Please meet at the church.
