Rosella “Babe” (Persichitti) Milko age 84 of Mentor, passed away Thursday April 8, 2021 at Danbury Senior Living in Mentor, OH with her husband by her side. She was born January 20, 1937 in Sea Rites, PA. Rosella was the baby of 10 children which deemed her the nickname, “Babe”. Babe was a devoted wife of 66 years and a loving mother to 3 beautiful daughters, 3 sons-in-law, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was the matriarch of her family and enjoyed helping her kids and grandchildren with numerous projects and attending their recognitions and sporting events. She was a selfless woman who always had a smile on her face. She was a longtime member of St. Bede the Venerable Church and Fairport Harbor Yacht Club – Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid Cleveland Indians, Browns and Cavaliers Sports fan. She enjoyed tailgating at Browns games with family and friends and spending summer nights watching the Indians games with her husband, Bob. She loved hosting her family for the holidays at her home as well as cooking weekly meals. She liked golfing and tending to her roses. She is survived by her husband of 66 years: Robert H. “Bob” Milko, daughters: Sherrie (Paul) Burke, Joyce (William “Billy”) Burke, Roberta (Charles “Chuck”) Milko-Brunner, grandchildren: Scott (Stephanie) Burke, Kevin Burke, Justin (Maria) Burke, Kelly (Will) Pan, Morgan (Fiancé: Jason Kohorst) Brunner and Nathan “Nate” Brunner, great-grandchildren: Ethan and Emerie Burke, Logan and Ryan Burke, Jack, Ellianna and Tai Pan, siblings: Robert “Al” Persichitti and Rita Billow. Preceding Babe in death are her parents: Vincent and Elizabeth Persichitti, siblings: John (Edith) Persichitti, Angelina “Julia” (Chris) Perrota, Andrew “Andy” (Frances) Persichitti, Yolanda “Helen” (William) Yanelli, Amadeus “Imes” (Betty) Persichitti, Emma (Stanley) Stoker, Franceso “Frank” (Thelma) Persichitti, sister in law: Algina Pershitti and brother in law: Joe Billow. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A funeral mass will be 11:00 am Monday May 3, 2021 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd. Mentor, OH. 44060. Please meet at the church.
