Victor J. Miller

Victor J. Miller, 83 of Concord Township passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025 at O’Neill Healthcare in Fairview Park. He was born on June 10, 1942 to the late Victor F. Miller and Mildred (Pearson) Miller. Victor was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He was a proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School and an active alumni. He attended John Carroll University before taking over his father’s industrial brush business, The Mill-Rose Company. Victor grew Mill-Rose brushes into a thriving business and expanded it to include Mill-Rose Laboratories. He enjoyed attending American Brush Manufacturing Association conventions with his wife, Grace, and served as President for the organization. Victor also served as President of the Lake County chapter of United Way, and of the Painesville chapter of Gyro International. Victor enjoyed golf for many years and played at some of the best courses around the world. He met several famous golfers at various charity golf tournaments. He was a gourmet chef and loved to cook. He was always in the kitchen for weeknight dinners as well as holidays and special occasions. Victor and Grace enjoyed the winter months in Rancho Mirage, California but always looked forward to coming home and seeing friends at the patio of Hellriegel’s Inn. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and wry wit. He is survived by his daughters, Gretchen Miller, Hilary (Andrew) Krueger, and Ingrid (Ivor) Nolan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madelyn Krueger, Abigail Krueger, Seamus and Brendan Nolan, and his siblings, Nina (James) Alban and Lawrence (Pam) Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents, and by his siblings, Greg Miller, Mary Miller, Eric Miller (his identical twin), Paul Miller, Carolyne Miller and Richard Miller, and by his beloved wife, Grace. Private interment will be held with the family at Crown Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
