William J. Hoffman Jr.

William J. Hoffman, Jr., 77, of Concord Township, entered eternal rest on January 7th, 2025. Born September 2nd, 1947 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, he grew up in Cleveland and Parma. Bill graduated from Saint Casimir Elementary School, Parma High School, and John Carroll University. He served his country in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. Bill worked in purchasing at the former LTV Steel and at Middough Inc. As a devoted father, he supported his children’s interests. For his son, Bill, this included driving him every Saturday to bowling leagues and numerous tournaments in Ohio and Michigan. For his daughters, Allison and Anne Marie, he attended practices, games, and competitions for dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics. Bill’s hobbies included working on his cars, listening to music, watching movies, and reading. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, attending many Browns, Indians, and Cavs games during the years with his family. He loved his neighborhood, Concord Hills, where he resided for the past 45 years. He took great pride in his yard enjoying countless hours keeping everything neat and trim. He also had a natural ability to fix anything around the house. Bill courageously battled cancer for 18 years. Special thanks to the many doctors and nurses at University Hospitals and Hospice of the Western Reserve. Heartfelt thanks to his daughter, Anne Marie, for being his primary caregiver and advocate. Her devotion to taking care of his needs was immeasurable. Forever remembered by his wife Karen (Kutcher) of 51 beautiful years; his son William (Emba), and daughters Allison (Jack and son, Connor) McNamara, and Anne Marie, and sister, Mary Ann Izzi. Bill was preceded in death by his parents William and Stella; his brother Vincent; his sister Jestine, and his in-laws Edward and Ann Azman. He was laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery on Monday, January 13th surrounded by his loving family in a private burial service.
