Brett Lewis Shell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Brett Lewis Shell, 22, of Painesville, passed away July 10, 2022. He was born October, 14, 1999 in Painesville. Brett was a 2018 graduate of Perry High School. He was involved in basketball, baseball, and football throughout his childhood years including school and travel teams. He enjoyed traveling with his family and spending time with friends and family. Brett loved cooking, fishing, cornhole, camping, and any water activities. He was currently employed by JP Stack Construction and was previously employed by Quaker Steak and Lube in Mentor. Brett will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will never be forgotten. Survivors include his parents, Troy and Julie (nee: Schaefer) Shell; sister, Brooke Shell; maternal grandmother, Gloria Schaefer; paternal grandparents, Jerry (Carol) Shell and Diane Shell; aunts and uncles, Linda (David) Roach, Andrea (Dan) Salman, Trent Shell and Chip (Dina) Guynn; cousins, Lindsey (Adam) White (their children, Leanna and Alaina White), David and Rachael Roach (their daughter, Rosalee Roach) and Lia Salman, Aiden and Aris Guynn and many other loving family members and friends. Preceding Brett in death is his maternal grandfather, John Schaefer. Friends and family will be received from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio 44060.
