He loved horse racing and attended many events at Thistledowns. He was also a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. James enjoyed the simple things in life and was always willing to help those in need. He loved his Frank Sinatra music, peach pie, butter pecan ice cream and Kit Kat candy bars. He looked forward to Birthday and Holiday dinners surrounded by family and would splurge on strawberry daiquiris’, rum & coke, seafood and desserts. James’ survivors include Brother, Robert (Betty) Meyer of Willoughby Hills, Brother, Joseph ‘Bud’ (Edith) Meyer of Florida and Sister, Mary Ellen (Jim) Padgett of North Carolina. A dear father to Geri (Bob) McCloud, Pat Horgan, Cynthia (Philip) Cronmiller all of Kirtland. A special Papa to Stacy, Austin, Ashlyn and Aven Eppes of Kirtland and Chad Tomasik of Lakewood. James was blessed as Grandpa to Geri, Patty, Selena, Lori, Karen, Danny, Cherish and Shannon. He also had many dear Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
