October 10, 1965 - November 12, 2021
"Together Again" Kendall C. Randolph, age 56 of Mentor, passed away November 12, 2021 at the University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. He was born October 10, 1965 in Toledo, OH. Kendall was an easy going kid. Youngest of four. Totally spoiled. He was good looking and fun loving. His entire life changed in 1993 when a car accident left him paralyzed from the neck down. Through the trauma of that day, he became an inspiration to others. He endured unspeakable loss and still continued to fight for happiness. He found it when he met and married his soulmate, Kim. They lived life with love and laughter until her death in 2012. They are together again without limits. Kendall’s faith, family and friends were most important to him. He would give all he had to a friend in need. He loved classic rock, old movies, the Indian’s, custard pie, and a good game of Yahtzee with his sister. Kendall had many caregivers and nurses over the years. Some became cherished friends. The most devoted were his parents, Chuck and Thelma. They never once wavered in their commitment to his care. Thank you to all who contributed to Kendall’s good health for many years. He is survived by his mother, Thelma Randolph; siblings, Debra (Edward), Brad (Amy) Randolph and Laura Fischer; nieces and nephews; and many other loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberley Randolph; father, Charles Randolph; brother-in-law, James Fischer, and his grandparents. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Contributions in Kendall’s name may be made to the family for a tribute tree to be planted at the Holden Arboretum or to the Painesville United Methodist Church’s Food Bank, 71 N Park Pl, Painesville, OH 44077 or online e-giving at www.pumconline.org. or to Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Rd, Mentor, OH 44060 or online gracechurchmentor.org/give.
