Ruth Chandler, 89, of Mentor, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Heartland of Mentor. She was born March 7, 1932 in Kite, KY., to the late Garnie and Bessie Hall. Survivors include her children, Donna (Jerry) Chandler-Crawford, Sharon (Tim Roberts), Chandler, Lynne Szabo, John Chandler, Paula (Dan) Pogozelski and Hank (Christine Cottrell) Chandler; grandchildren, Christine (Nick) Miller, Cathy Jo Cooper-Bowling, Tonya (Rodney) Reynolds, Kristina (Dave) Crowley-Rancourt, Ashley Pogozelski, Daniel Pogozelski, Nicholas Chandler and Tiffany Chandler; great grandchildren, Tony, Savanah and Liam; siblings, Bennie (Virginia) Hall, Everett (Fontella) Hall, Ronnie (Sandra) Hall, Virginia Lusford and Jeff Hall and many other loving family members. Preceding Ruth in death are her son, Michael Chandler and siblings, Jerry, Nick, Happy, Fred, Isom and Kelly Hall and Georgia Bates. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
