It is with a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, and all around best friend, Ruth Ann Hutton, aka Ruthie, Ruth Horvath, Ruth Singleton, and Ruth Scott. Ruthie was born Sept. 26, 1948 in Matewan,Wv. Ruthie was called to her final resting place on July 26th , 2015. She lived most of her life in Lake County, Ohio going to Mentor High School. Ruthie was a free spirit who lived her short life to the fullest, and was full of love for everyone. Ruthie was loved by many in her life, and there wasn't anyone she wouldn't call a friend. Though her life wasn't always easy, she never let it get her down. No matter what was going on or how bad she felt, there was always a smile on her face and kind words out of her mouth. From your first meeting with her, you became her lifelong friend. As a member of her family, you were definitely loved. Ruthie looked forward to visits from her children and grandchildren. She will always have a special place in their heart. To know Ruthie is to know her family, for she would tell everyone who would, all about her family, no matter how embarrassing it was for them. The one thing you knew for sure after those talks was her love for her family and friends. Ruthie was survived by her son Danny Singleton and her daughter Kelly Horvath Betton (Ahmod Betton), step daughter Char Hutton Wyatt , and step son Rocky Hutton, Sister Debra Doll(Dee Dee). She is also survived by very loving grandchildren, Stephen Singleton, Adam Singleton, Bethany Singleton, Gabriel Betton, Rosaria Betton, Ahmiah Betton, Aurelius Betton. Step grandchildren Brooklyn Wyatt, Selena Hutton, Shawn Hutton, Layla Hutton, Brendon Hutton, Kendell Hutton. Waiting for her in heaven are her precious grandson Josiah Betton, her mother Evelyn Scott (Nanny), Her father Danny Ray Scott (Bucky), Her Previous Husbands, George Horvath, Harry Hutton (Rocky), Her first husband is still with us William Singleton. Ruthie also leaves many lifelong friends which are too many to list her and who have always been there for her.. Thank you for loving her like she loved you. Per Ruthie's wishes she will be cremated with no viewing. She wants everyone to remember her for her love of life and not for her death. There will be a celebration of life on August 21, 2015 at the American Legion Hall, 60 Chester St. in Painesville, Ohio from 6pm to 1Opm, feel free to bring a dish to share and a memory of Ruthie to share. There will be a cash bar for you to have a last drink with Ruthie. Ruthie will always be loved by those who knew her. I know she will be leaving signs to let you know she still loves you watch for butterflies for she was and always will be a free spirit. As Kelly always says I Love You Mommy.
