Shawn C. Swindell, 44, formerly of Kirtland, died June 18, 2022. He was born May 14, 1978 in Euclid. Shawn worked as a machine operator at Gent Machine. Shawn was an amazing artist who enjoyed hunting, playing the drums, nature, music and video games. Survivors include his son, Christopher Swindell; parents, Don and Cory Swindell; his brother Don (Katie) Swindell; his loving companion, Tracy Kog; and many other family members and numerous friends who all loved him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tim and Sandy Campbell; paternal grandparents, Don and Sara Swindell; and his uncle, Glenn Swindell. The family will receive friends to celebrate Shawn’s life from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
