Concetta "Tina" (Trivisonno) Gartland, age 90 of Richfield, OH, formerly of Mentor, OH, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born November 7, 1934 in Cleveland. Tina Gartland was a cherished figure in the lives of many, known for her warmth, kindness, and boundless generosity. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, supportive sister, and loyal friend. She touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her greatest pride was in her grandchildren, and she was blessed with a lifelong friend, Maureen. The two shared countless adventures and a bond that stood the test of time. Tina pursued her passion for the arts at Ursuline College, where she majored in art. There, she discovered her love for watercolor painting, a passion that allowed her to express creativity and emotions beautifully. Her talent did not go unnoticed as she earned numerous awards for her stunning artworks. Deeply rooted in her Catholic faith, Tina found strength and solace in her beliefs, which guided her in both her personal and family life. She was the cornerstone of her family, sharing cherished moments with her children and grandchildren and instilling in them the values of love, compassion, and creativity. Tina’s spirit lives on in the treasured memories she created and the love she so freely shared with everyone around her. She will be deeply missed. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the dedicated staff at the Inn at Apple Ridge, who truly became like an extended family. Their personalized care and genuine friendship not only enriched her life but also brought her immense comfort and joy. Survivors include her children: Kevin Gartland, Mary Beth Adams, Tim (Melanie) Gartland and Mark (Gwen) Gartland and grandchildren: Drew, Nick, Jake, Owen, Isabella and Liam and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her husband of 52 years: Thomas O. Gartland; parents: John and Josephine Trivisonno and sister: Antoinette (Bernie) DeLeo. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025 at St. Mary Church, 242 N. State St., Painesville, OH, 44077. Please meet at the church.
