Janet Marie (Hager) Hill

Janet Marie (Hager) Hill, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. With a generous heart and a loving spirit, Janet was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many during all of her years. Janet was born the second oldest to three brothers, Jack, Gene, and Terry, to their parents Ebenezer and Marion Hager. She was always seen as the wise counterpart to her amusing, crafty three siblings. They all remained considerably close throughout their lives. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Ernest Hill, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they raised their treasured daughter, Bobbi Ann Harvey, who carries forward their legacy. Janet devoted over 25 years of her life to her career as a skilled and compassionate dental assistant, bringing warmth and care to her patients and colleagues. In her personal life, she found joy in reading, often immersing herself in books. She also loved discovering treasures at garage sales, traveling to new places, and spending precious moments with her great-grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life. Janet’s family was her greatest source of pride. Her spirit lives on in her daughter, Bobbi Ann Harvey; her two grandchildren, Stephen Harvey and Ryan Harvey; and their families. Stephen is married to Alicia Harvey, who together have three wonderful children: Ava, Ella, and Gavin. Ryan is married to Madeline Harvey, who together are blessed with four children: Liam, Greyson, Cole, and Jared. Janet’s love and kindness is reflected in each of them. The family will hold a celebration of Janet’s life at a later date to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her unwavering love and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Janet’s name to a charity of your choice, honoring her generous and compassionate spirit.
