Pamela Roberts (nee: Miller)

Pamela Roberts (nee: Miller), 79, of Concord Twp., passed away April 12, 2026, at Hillcrest Hospital, Mayfield Hts. She was born May 19, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late James and Mary June Miller. Pamela was a loving wife for 58 years and a proud mother and grandmother. A musician who played piano, string bass, and cello, she thought Bartôk was strange, but John Williams was brilliant. She also had a deep love for theater. She was raised in the Christian Science tradition and believed strongly in the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy. She became an enthusiastic Den Mother and Girl Scout leader who took great joy leading the kids through Boston. She loved cooking and shared that love with her children. She was devoted to her cats, dogs, and farm critters, and enjoyed gardening, especially growing plants that reminded her of places she had been. She loved attracting birds to her backyard feeders and listening to the sound of the chimes when the wind was blowing. Pamela was a small business owner, a strong HR leader, and very proud of her HR team. She drank Coke Classic--never Pepsi--and kept ice water in her Starbucks tumbler with the straw. She savored McDonald’s Caramel Frappé and French silk pie. She would order her breakfast with two eggs basted, hashbrowns on the side, and French toast extra soaked with powdered sugar. The champion of Dr. Mario, who also played Farmville on a schedule, Pamela liked making birthday and holiday cards on her computer as well as knitting scarves and throws for gifts—with her dogs Fozzie and Phoebe nestled by her side. More than anything, she was our “Ma,” who loved and cared for her family. She will be forever with us in our hearts. Survivors include her husband, Les Roberts; sons, DeVon (Laurie) Roberts, of Lone Tree, Colorado and Aaron (Jennifer) Roberts, of Mentor, Ohio; grandchildren, Zachary Roberts and Gillian Roberts. Preceding Pamela in death are her daughter, Mercedes Roberts, of Colorado Springs and her brother, Stanley Miller, of South Bend, Indiana. A celebration of life for Pamela and Mercedes will be held Tuesday, May 12th, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., at Mentor Beach Park, 7779 Lake Shore Boulevard, Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH 44060.
