Penny Kay (nee Dennison) Harrison

Penny Kay (nee Dennison) Harrison, age 79, Concord Twp., OH, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025. She was born on May 24, 1946 in Clarksburg, WV, and throughout her life brought warmth, creativity and a deep sense of devotion to those around her. Penny was the beloved wife of 61 years to Tommy Harrison and a devoted mother to Daniel Harrison and Jennifer Harrison (John) Abercrombie. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Dylan (Jordan) Harrison, Quinton (Kaitlyn) Harrison, Joshua Harrison, Eli Harrison, Catherine Harrison, and Benjamin (Angel) Harrison. She also leaves behind great-grandsons, Aiden Harrison, Luca Harrison and Dominic Harrison. She was the loving sister to Harold V. Dennison Jr., Patricia (Gary Russell) Dennison, and Debra (Walter) Richardson. Penny’s extended family includes nieces, nephews and friends who held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold V. and Margaret Dennison. Penny found joy in creative pursuits such as scrapbooking and machine embroidery – hobbies that reflected her attention to detail and love for preserving memories. She was also an active member of Toastmasters, where she honed her communication skills and enjoyed connecting with others through shared stories and experiences. A woman of faith, Penny was a member of Perry Christian Church. Her spiritual life provided strength and guidance throughout the years. She was a chair of the Elders, involved in the Women’s Bible Study Ministry as well as a chair for the Christian Women’s Ministry. She especially treasured time spent at her home in Surfside, SC – a place where she could relax by the ocean and enjoy peaceful moments with loved ones. Penny’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched throughout her life. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday December 1, 2025 at Perry Christian Church, 3270 Call Rd., Perry Twp., OH 44081. The family will receive friends from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday November 30, 2025 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
